The Showtec Polar Wash 740 is a powerful, compact, and lightweight LED wash moving head featuring a motorised zoom and an integrated LED ring effect, engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications. Despite its modest footprint, its seven 40-watt RGBL LEDs combine to deliver an impressive output of over 4,000 lumens. The inclusion of the lime LED emitter allows the fixture to achieve an excellent CRI of 85 for accurate white light rendering.
The Polar Wash 740 offers great versatility, transitioning smoothly from a tight, punchy 3.5 degree beam to a wide 44 degree wash. For added creative control, the seven primary LEDs can be managed in two distinct sections: the centre LED and the outer ring of LEDs. Surrounding these is a dedicated LED ring that can be controlled independently to produce captivating graphic patterns in a wide selection of colours. These ring patterns can also be indexed, rotated, and bounced to suit the specific needs of your production.
